To earn the Diploma in Gender Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, participants must complete at least four qualifying courses and successfully complete a capstone project within a five-year period.

How it Works

To earn the Diploma in Gender Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, participants must:

  1. Complete the course requirements within five years by either:
  • Option A: Successfully completing four eligible courses, which may be in different languages;

OR

  • Option B: Successfully completing one flagship course (either the Academy on Gender Equality, Inclusion, and the Future of Work or the Participatory Gender Audit Certification) plus two additional eligible courses, which may also be in different languages.
  1. Undertake a capstone project, applying the knowledge and skills acquired to a real-world context.
Assessment and Certification

Upon completion of the course requirements, participants submit their capstone project, demonstrating their ability to translate learning into actionable solutions. Participants can choose from different formats to structure their capstone project, ensuring alignment with their professional interests and the themes explored in their completed courses (for instance, development of a gender equality strategy or action plan for an organisation; development of a workplace policy document to enhance diversity and inclusion; a research paper on a critical gender equality or diversity issue).
