In our commitment to fostering a more inclusive workplace, the ITCILO is dedicating a day to explore, discuss, and promote Gender Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion. This special day will provide valuable insights into dismantling stereotypes and biases, addressing the gender gap in STEM, navigating AI in recruitment, and understanding the impact of automation on jobs, among other.

- Dismantling Stereotypes and Biases: Dr. Marielza Oliveira, Director of Communications and Information Sector's Division for Digital Inclusion, Policies, and Transformation at UNESCO, will explore the impact of AI on stereotypes and biases.
- Bridging the Gender Gap in STEM: Dipty Chander, President of E-mma, will discuss the persistent lack of women in STEM and how to break down these barriers.
- Balancing Automation Risks and Reskilling Opportunities: Pawel Gmyrek, Senior Researcher in the Research Department at ILO Geneva, co-author of "Generative AI and jobs: A global analysis of potential effects on job quantity and quality," will delve into the topic of job automation and the imperative to reskill/upskill in a rapidly evolving job landscape.
- Decoding AI in Recruitment Processes: Clementine Collett, from the Oxford Internet Institute, co-author of "The effects of AI on the working lives of women," will shed light on how AI is transforming recruitment processes and the challenges it poses for gender equality.
