An ITCILO Masterclass Launch Event
Could access to AI-enabled, non-invasive, neuro-wearable devices revolutionize the way we learn, teach, and train?
Cutting-edge neurotechnology research is making its way toward the live, online and hybrid classroom.
Consumer access to a variety of new neurotech devices and products creates room for a future in which instructional pathways for adult learners are fully personalised, adaptable to any training environment, customizable around individual learning needs, attention spans, emotional states.
Within the ILO ecosystem, the ITCILO provides a safe space for experimentation with innovative capacity development solutions that accelerate social development. Jointly curated with the Geneva Science and Diplomacy Accelerator (GESDA) and the University of Turin (UniTO), the upcoming ITCILO Masterclass on Neurotechnologies for Capacity Development explores how the application and harnessing of AI-enabled, non-invasive, neuro-wearable devices may shape the future of learning and capacity development. It guides learners through current neurotech use-cases for learning, while opening up room for questions around neuroethics, fostering greater accessibility of neurotechnology devices, and addressing related challenges at scale.
On 26 May 2026 (15:00-16:30) within the framework of Future Week: Torino, join the ITCILO, GESDA and UniTO expert panelists at the ITCILO Innovation Lab for a conversation on technical opportunities, integration challenges, and deployment strategies for neurotechnologies in capacity development contexts.
