More than two-fifths of the world’s workers are rural, and many rely on small-scale agricultural activities for a living. The Academy on Rural Development offers a wide range of integrated approaches, tools and training packages to promote full and productive employment and decent work in the rural economy.

Perfil dos participantes

The Academy is especially designed for the ILO's tripartite constituents (government officials, representatives of employers' and workers' organizations) and ILO staff (field offices, projects and headquarters) whose work relates to rural economies. The Academy may also be of interest to policy-makers, practitioners and other professionals representing development partner agencies and international organizations, private and social enterprises, universities and civil society organizations.
