Enrollment, payments, cancellation policy, and refunds

Enrollment in regular courses

Once a candidate has been accepted to a regular course, they will receive upon enrollment an official confirmation, guidelines, and an invoice issued by the Centre's financial services.

Payment is required to secure a participant's place in a course and, in certain cases, for the timely issuance of necessary visas.

The amount due should be received by the Centre at least 14 days prior to the start date of the activity and is payable in full. All related bank chargesbank of origin, correspondent bank, and recipient bankshould be borne entirely by the payer.

It is essential that the invoice number and the course code are indicated on the bank transfer form and that the Centre receives a copy of the transaction no less than seven days prior to the start date of the course.

Alternatively, the amount due may be paid by credit card. As this method requires access to the Centre's secure, electronic payment service, participants wishing to pay by credit card should notify the Centre immediately. The Centre only accepts Visa and Mastercard.

Withdrawal, cancellation policy, and refunds for regular courses

If an enrolled participant wishes or must withdraw from a course, they may choose to apply to a different course or be substituted by another candidate. The participant must notify the Centre, in writing, of their decision at least 14 days prior to the start date of the course.

Cancellation of participation in regular courses will result in the following penalties:

  • 14 days or more prior to the start date of the course: No penalty, 100% refund of amount paid less applicable bank charges
  • 8 to 13 days prior to the start date of the course: Penalty of 50% of course price, refund of residual amount paid (if any) less applicable bank charges
  • 7 days or less prior to the start date of the course: Penalty of 100% of course price

Enrollment in Masters at the Turin School of Development 

Once a participant has been accepted to a Master and chooses to enroll, they receive an official confirmation, guidelines, and an invoice issued by the Centre's financial services.

Payment is required from sponsoring institution(s) and self-paying participants to secure a participant's place in a Master (for the distance learning phase) and, in certain cases, for the timely issuance of necessary visas (for the face-to-face learning phase).

The amounts due are payable in full. All related bank chargesbank of origin, correspondent bank, and recipient bankshould be borne entirely by the payer.

Payment terms, withdrawal, cancellation policy, and refunds for Masters

The payment schedule for Masters is as follows:

  • A non-refundable enrollment fee of 1,500, on tuition price, is payable prior to the start date of the distance learning phase.
  • The balance of the tuition price is payable no less than 30 days prior to the start date of the face-to-face learning phase
  • The total subsistence price is payable 30 days prior to the start date of the face-to-face learning phase

Cancellation of participation in Master's courses will result in the following penalties:

Tuition price: 

  • Prior to the start date of the distance learning phase: Fixed penalty of 1,500, refund of residual amount paid (if any)
  • After the start date of the face-to-face learning phase: Penalty of 100% of tuition price

Subsistence price:

  • 14 days or more prior to the start date of the face-to-face learning phase: No penalty, refund of amount paid
  • 13 days or less prior to the start date of the face-to-face learning phase: Fixed penalty of 1,000, refund of residual amount paid (if any)
  • After the start date of the face-to-face learning phase: Fixed penalty of 1,000 plus subsistence costs already incurred and calculated on a weekly basis (i.e. actual number of weeks and portions thereof) and refund of residual amount paid (if any)
  • After the start date of the face-to-face learning phase, in case of a change of room type or occupancy option: Fixed penalty fee of 500 per person

Refunds, where and as applicable, will be processed with all bank chargesbank of origin, correspondent bank, and recipient bankto be borne by the participant or the sponsoring institution(s).
