Launched in June 2026, UNDIS 2.0 is the next, more ambitious phase of the United Nations Disability Inclusion Strategy (adopted 2019) - the foundation for transformative progress on disability inclusion across the UN's programmes and operations, and every pillar of its work. "I want the United Nations to lead by example and invite you to join me in moving decisively to achieve the goals of the United Nations Disability Inclusion Strategy" United Nations Secretary-General, António Guterres This capacity-building programme equips UNDIS country team and entity focal points to advance disability inclusion through the UNDIS 2.0 framework. The course includes live virtual sessions with international experts and self-guided online modules, covering strategies and tools for identifying and addressing obstacles to achieving disability inclusion in their work context. The programme has been collaboratively designed by the ITCILO, the ILO-Gender, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Branch, and the Disability Inclusion Team in the Executive Office of the Secretary-General.

Perfil dos participantes

This interactive course is designed for UN staff members who have been designated as UNDIS focal points, along with colleagues who work on disability inclusion - or wish to begin promoting it in their work - whether at HQ or in the field. This training course will provide tools to improve their practice and widen network on disability inclusion.
