Intersectionality in the Care Ecconomy in the Americas

The main goal of this course is to have a holistic view on the importance of the social organisation of care from an intersectionality social approach.

Participants will integrate the analyses and proposals that will be developed throughout the course into a proposal that will serve as a trade union stage to participate in the social debate and in political advocacy, so as to enable the integration of care in public policies in their different dimensions: social, economic, fiscal, social security, education, etc., based on the principles of the 4 Rs [Recognise, reduce, redistribute and adequately remunerate], and taking into account the different types of measures that make up the social organisation of care.
