The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted that our working environments are characterized by volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. The economic and social challenges brought by the pandemic continue to mount-and with them comes much uncertainty about the future. The COVID-19 impacts have tested the ability of organizations to deliver projects effectively. Some organizations and projects adapted quickly to this new reality, with managers and teams implementing in remote working, while others have had substantial delays or cancellations. Having adapted to remote working, many projects are now faced with more fundamental questions around how to effectively manage projects in this complex situation. Effective responses to emergencies require exceptional management skills. Implementing projects can be difficult under normal circumstances, but being able to deliver results rapidly and effectively is even more important in emergency situations. If you are a Project Manager or a team member, the Global E-coaching Forum is the place to discuss with international experts and your peers how to implement effectively your project in a volatile and uncertain environment.

¿Quiénes participan en este curso?

This Global E-coaching Forum is for project managers and professionals who are implementing (or who will be implementing in the near future) projects in working environments characterised by volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity.

What topics will be covered?

The topics are being defined based on an online survey shared with project managers that are currently implementing operating projects under emergencies.

Potential topics to be covered are:

  • Complexity thinking;
  • Leadership in remote settings;
  • Agile and adaptive project management;
  • Risk management;
  • Monitoring and reporting;
  • Communication;
  • Stakeholder engagement;
  • Management of project resources;
  • Implications for the project manager.
Forum structure

The three-day Forum involves 12 learning hours, including two live sessions per day of 90 minutes each.

  • A completed online registration form
  • An official sponsorship letter from your organization (or a donor) or a self-statement (if you cover the course fees by yourself) is required to finalize your registration
