Call for Solutions: Metaverse Learning Camp 22

The International Training Centre of the ILO in cooperation with the European Training Foundation (ETF), Le Haut-Commissariat aux Compétences of France, Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), the Torino Chamber of Commerce, Another Reality, and SAA – School of Management of the University of Turin are searching for XR/Metaverse tech solutions.

Are you a company or an SME working on XR innovations that are fostering people’s engagement in the Metaverse or integrating XR in the upskilling and reskilling? Then you are the innovator we are looking for! This international call for solutions aims to facilitate open innovation as well as networking between the supply and demand for thirty companies that will be selected to share their know-how with educators and innovators from training and learning institutions.

ELIGIBILITY AND CRITERIA

 

Specific attention will be given to GREEN, ETHICAL AND FAIR tech XR solutions with proven Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) directed towards:

  • Promoting digital human centric approach and Machine to Machine (M2M)
  • Fostering social and digital inclusion
  • Enhancing a company’s digital human interaction, brand visibility and business market activation
  • Increasing environmental sustainability through simulations.
  • Guaranteeing equitable access to training for disadvantaged workers.

 

The main economic sectors for this international competition are:

  • Content industry (cinema, music, publishing, gaming, eSports, etc.)
  • Sustainable mobility (including the automotive sector)
  • Agro-processing/Agricultural industry
  • Aerospace/Aeronautical industry

 

WHY SHOULD YOU APPLY?

The 30 selected companies will be invited to exhibit their innovations during the Metaverse Learning Camp 22 and freely attend dedicated pitching sessions where they will meet big industry and international organizations involved in international human capital development like the ITCILO and ETF, as well as venture capitalists and investors.

  • The top 3 selected companies will be given an opportunity to speak during the main event program alongside other phenomenal global industry leaders.
  • Wide visibility at European level and the possibility of meeting international business or research partners during an online matchmaking event organized by Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) with numerous stakeholders from the supply chain.

NOTE: Participation in the call is free and only teams coming from the OECD DAC list will be waived of their travel and accommodation fees.
