How can green technologies support development cooperation and your roles in terms of the green transformation? This four-week online course introduces students, young professionals and early-career practitioners to the role of green technologies in addressing development challenges and green transformation. Moving past basic theories and technical content, it fosters your sustainable mindset and self-awareness while bridging inner growth with green transformation. Participants explore how green technologies can support climate action, carbon neutrality, environmental protection and resilience, with selected examples such as renewable energy, climate adaptation tools, environmental monitoring, nature-based solutions and green innovation. The course is open to participants worldwide. It caters to anyone with a keen interest in global green transformation, who aims to deepen professional knowledge, enhance personal capabilities and explore promising study and career pathways in this field - including senior students from international schools.

The course also offers an introduction to themes that can be further explored through the Turin School of Development, including the Master in Management of Development, which provides broader foundations in development cooperation, project management and the design and implementation of development interventions.
Certification
Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a Certificate of Completion.

Participants should have sufficient English communication skills to follow sessions, join discussions and prepare a short final presentation.
Four-Week Modules
Week 1: Global Frameworks for Technology and Green Development Cooperation
Week 2: Green technologies Impact: how to be appropriate, affordable, maintainable, inclusive and adapted to local realities in terms of carbon neutral future.
Week 3: Future professionals on how green technology can be selected, transferred and implemented with inclusiveness and responsibility to drive systematical change for carbon neutrality.
Week 4: Boundaries and reflections of Future professionals between green technologies and biodiversity stewardship
