Introduction to the course
By examining in detail the procedures of the international labour standards (ILS) system, from adoption to supervision, the course aims to strengthen the capacity to follow them, including the discharge of obligations under the ILO Constitution.
Who attends this course?
- Government officials responsible for matters relating to national and international labour standards, including the fulfilment of the obligations laid down by the ILO Constitution.
- Representatives of employers' and workers' organizations responsible for ILO matters.
- ILO and UN officials interested in the ILO normative action.

- Step 1: Introduce yourself and assess your initial knowledge of ILS procedures.
- Step 2: Explore the ten flexible and interactive self-guided sessions with objectives, preliminary readings, video presentations, resources, assessment, and the step-by-step Internet guides on the ILO website and the NORMLEX database.
- Step 3: Assess the knowledge gained and share your takeaways.
- Step 4: Answer the satisfaction questionnaire and tell us how was your learning journey.
- Step 5: Earn your digital certificate of participation specifically issued by the ITCILO for this course.
