This tailor-made course is available upon request and may be customized for local, national, and international contexts.
Refine and adapt your approach with this tailor-made course on empowering trainers with AI, designed to help you navigate and optimize AI for in-person, online, blended, and hybrid learning.
Co-designed with your organization to address the specific challenges and opportunities your trainers face.
Participants work directly with AI tools across every phase of the training cycle, from needs analysis to evaluation.
Groupwork focuses on real, problem-based training scenarios drawn from the institutional context.
At the ITCILO Learning Innovation Programme, we believe that the most effective response to a rapidly changing learning landscape is to build the capacity to ask the right questions about any tool.
This tailor-made course is designed for training institutions ready to move beyond the basics of digital learning and explore how artificial intelligence can meaningfully be integrated in the entire learning cycle to support the work of trainers, instructional designers, and learners. Grounded in the ITCILO's participatory learning methodology and informed by real partnerships with training organisations across the globe, the programme combines theoretical frameworks with hands-on practice, reflective design sprints, and direct experimentation with AI tools.
Participants learn about AI with AI. Every methodological choice in the programme models what trainers are asked to take back to their own institutions: active learning over passive reception, technology used purposefully rather than decoratively, and a consistent focus on the learner in front of them.
Participants will develop a practical, grounded understanding of how artificial intelligence can support each phase of the training cycle, from analysis and design through delivery and evaluation. They will explore the Radcliffe model for learning, map digital technologies for high- and low-tech environments, and build evaluation frameworks informed by learning analytics and the Kirkpatrick model.
The training methodology is designed to deliver a dynamic, immersive, and hands-on learning experience, tailored to the specific needs and working practices of the organization requesting it. The training can be delivered entirely online, fully physical at ITCILO Innovation Lab, or in a blended format.
The training for this course will be conducted by a team of highly experienced and certified international facilitators from the ITCILO Learning Innovation Programme.
